Friends of Tribals Society, Bengaluru Mahila Chapter was established on 5th November, 2011 under the guidance of Padmashri Rameshwar lalaji Kabra & Maa with the motivation of Manju Didi under the able leadership of Sabitaji Agrwal as the President.. The year 2011 was a landmark year for Friends of Tribals Society. In the history of FTS spanning over 34 years. This is the only chapter to be lead by a team of ladies. In a short span of 1 year this new chapter enrolled 110 members and has taken a responsibility of looking after 100 Ekal Vidyalaya in Mysore District. As on now FTS Bengaluru Mahila Chapter is funding more than 600 Ekal Vidyalaya in Mysore and Bidar district of Karnataka. As of now, there are 250+ Donors and 264+ members. At present we have Mahila Samiti, FTS Yuva in Bangaluru Mahila Chapter

FTS definitely has a transformative power. For the people who work in it and the communities we work for. Because of its tremendous ground work and support framework- it’s a grassroots movement in all regards and one which has the power to take India to a self-sufficient, sustainable, inclusive and bright future.
