Friends of Tribals Society, Bengaluru Mahila Chapter was established on 5th November, 2011 under the guidance of Padmashri Rameshwar lalaji Kabra & Maa with the motivation of Manju Didi under the able leadership of Sabitaji Agrwal as the President.. The year 2011 was a landmark year for Friends of Tribals Society. In the history of FTS spanning over 34 years. This is the only chapter to be lead by a team of ladies. In a short span of 1 year this new chapter enrolled 110 members and has taken a responsibility of looking after 100 Ekal Vidyalaya in Mysore District. As on now FTS Bengaluru Mahila Chapter is funding more than 600 Ekal Vidyalaya in Mysore and Bidar district of Karnataka. As of now, there are 250+ Donors and 264+ members. At present we have Mahila Samiti, FTS Yuva in Bangaluru Mahila Chapter

President Note

I am very proud to say that from the day it was formed there is no looking back. We have taken several leaps forward, be it in the field of membership drive or OTS collection . We had started with 100 Ekal Vidyalayas & today we are funding 600 schools & have been given the target of 1000 schools this year. Our membership strength is also increasing rapidly. I Madhu Agarwal have been a member since the inception of the Chapter. Have been an executive committee member from 2015 & a treasurer for the last five years. Presently am honoured to be the President of this prestigious organization. During the yar 2022-23 we surpassed all previous landmarks. All these were possible due to sincere effort of our comittee members.
