Let me take you through the remarkable journey of the Friends of Tribals Society’s (FTS) youth wing. Our story began in September 2021 in Gwalior, under the umbrella of Ekal Abhiyan, founded by Sanchita Gupta. In just three short years, we have grown to a team of 50 dedicated individuals, and Gwalior has become one of the fastest-growing chapters among 22 successful chapters nationwide.
Our primary focus has always been serving the underserved, particularly in slum areas. We have dedicated our energy to a range of initiatives, from education and healthcare to holistic development. Over the course of our journey, we’ve organized more than 200 events, all with the mission of driving positive change within our communities.
One of our flagship projects, the Sunday Paathshaala initiative, has been pivotal in providing educational support, health check-ups, and cultural enrichment to those in need. Through 100+ events, we have seen significant progress in the bastis we serve, with measurable improvements in education, health, and overall well-being.
Our efforts are not limited to urban areas alone. With 30+ impactful projects like Van Yatra, Khel Pratiyogita, Ekal Surtaal, and Acharya Sammaan Samaroh, we’ve bridged the gap between rural and urban societies, fostering a sense of connection with the 240 Ekal Vidyalayas surrounding Gwalior.
None of this would have been possible without the unwavering support of our members, donors, and partners. Through various fundraising events, we’ve not only sustained our initiatives but also garnered widespread awareness and support for our cause.
From humble beginnings to a national presence, it’s truly inspiring to see how far we’ve come.

This progress would not have been possible without the generous support of donors and partners, as well as our committed volunteers. As we reflect on our inspiring journey from humble beginnings to a national presence, we are hopeful and determined to continue making a difference in the lives of the underprivileged.
