Established in the year 1989 at Jamshedpur, Friends of Tribals Society (FTS) is a non – government and voluntary organisation committed towards upliftment of the underprivileged rural and tribal masses in India. It is providing five-fold education namely Functional Literacy, Health Care / Arogya, Development Education / Gramothan, Empowerment, Ethics & Value Education / Sanskar. Our activities have been acknowledged with the prestigious Gandhi Peace Prize 2017 handed over by the President of India Shri Ram Nath Kovind along with the Prime Minister of India Shri Narendra Modi at a glittering function held at Rashtrapati Bhawan on 26th February 2019.
President Note
I am honored to serve as the President of FTS Yuva Samity, Jamshedpur Chapter. Alongside our dedicated team, we are eager to enhance this organization and help it become a powerful and influential force for future generations.
We are committed to improving society by supporting those in need, especially economically disadvantaged tribals and underprivileged people. Our focus includes promoting environmental conservation, advocating for Swadeshi values such as “vocal for local,” and preserving Sanatan Sanskar, Bharatiya culture, and heritage.
A key objective is to unite like-minded youth and build a strong foundation for our organization. I am excited about the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the community through FTS and look forward to growing and learning throughout this journey.
