FTS Pune Chapter established in the year 2012. Pune is one of the 36 Chapters of Friends of Tribals Society (FTS) which is a non – government and voluntary organisation committed towards upliftment of the underprivileged rural and tribal masses in India. Pune Chapter runs around 420 Ekal school (aka OTS) and supports total around 800 OTS.
Pune Chapter have received Best Performer Chapter Award in 2022 during NEC-cum-AGM meeting at Bhopal. Pune Chapter and Pune Mahila Samiti also received award for best performer in 2018.
President Note
I am extremely honored and humbled to be President of this Social Organisation Friends of Tribals Society. It is privilege to be part of Executive Committee and to mention that our collective efforts to ensure directly / indirectly to cascade down the values to the Tribals areas to keep our Sanatana dharma intact. I always say, “Together We Can and We Will”.
