Siliguri Chapter was inaugurated in the year 2007 with the Blessings and inspiration from Bapuji Sri Rameshwarlal ji Kabra, adopting 90 Ekal Vidyalayas. The City of Siliguri is located at Chicken’s Neck of India, strategically most vulnerable place in this region. Surrounded by Bangladesh,15 km, in the South, Bhutan on the North, Nepal on North East just 20 km away. During last 15 years our efforts has been able to change the Socio-Economic-Political scene of villages in this region to a great extent. Until 2022 we were running 565 Vidyalayas and in 2023-24 we have a target of running 758 Vidyalayas with the blessings and support of all concerns. We have a very vibrant Mahila Samity supporting shoulder to shoulder at all times. Ekal Youth is yet to start very soon.
