Diwali Milan of Mumbai

Diwali Milan of Mumbai Chapter held on 4th Nov.2023 at Ashoka Garden Club House, Sewri. Program started with Om chanting. 75 members and donors attended the meeting. Shri Sri Gopal Pachisia welcomed the guest. Shri Ghanshyamji Mundra explained about our fivefold programme. How with a sum of Rs.22000/- per school so many aspects are covered. Smt. Amla Ruia stressed the need for continued support to the organization and she recited a small poem. Smt. Shruti Agarwal spoke about Ekal Yuva and requested members’ children to join. Shri Shreegopal Kabra spoke about the need for continued giving. How than 88000 schools has created a rise in the Literacy level with work going on from 1989. Shri Keshavji Harodia President of Dhanbad Chapter was present. He invited all the members to attend the Ekal Kumbh to be held at Dhanbad, the Dec. 2023. Smt. Uma Pachisia proposed vote of thanks. Gobar Diyas were gifted to all the participants.

Ganesh Pujan

On 18th September 2023 the occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi festival, a special ritual of worshiping the idol of Lord Ganesha took place at the FTS Mumbai office. After that, the Ganesh Aarti dedicated to Lord Ganesha was performed, followed by the distribution of Prasad. The event was attended by the members of the Vanbandhu Parishad and office staff.

Self Defence & Awareness of Cyber Crime

On September 13, 2023, a seminar on self-security and cybercrime awareness was organized by a young individual. Sixty students participated in the program held at the NM College. The event was participated as a resource person Mr. Ajay Patil, Police Sub Inspector, Department of Cyber Crime, Mumbai Police, and Mr. Balakrishna Shetty, an expert in self-security and President of TCF. It was conducted by Eakal Yuva sponsored Mumbai. Miss Shruti Agarwal. & Mr. Akritiji Mundra were present from Eakal Yuva.
Mr. Ajay Patil discussed about cybercrimes, methods used, and how ordinary people can be trapped, providing information about various apps, social networking sites, and websites. Some students asked questions, which were answered. Tips given on how to stay safe from these issues were provided to the students.
Mr. Balakrishna Shetty, with the help of his colleagues provided the self-defence training to the students. He informed them about how to protect themselves or their families if they suddenly face an attack or conflict and demonstrated methods in real-life scenarios.
The active participation of students made the program very valuable. The entire event was anchored by Ms. Shruti Agarwal. In the end the organizers expressed their gratitude.

Shri Krishna Janmashtami Mumbai

On occasion of Bhagwan Shri Krishna Janmashtami on dated 5th September 2023 by Mumbai Mahila Samiti Initiated the Krishna Janmashtami celebration. Beautiful tableau was decorated by the Mahila Samiti Members members, and everyone sang bhajans with great enthusiasm.

Members had invited Karishma Ji Goyankaji, who enacted the dialogue between Krishna and Arjuna (the essence of the Gita). It was very beautiful.

In colorful attire, there were 40 members and 20 guests present. We informed them about Ekal.

We received contributions from members of three schools and collected Rs. 3400 for the service project.

Thanking Sheila Ji and everyone for organizing the meeting, we concluded with a prayer for peace.

Raksha Bandhan Celebration

On August 22, 2023, the FTS Mumbai Women’s Committee organized a Raksha Bandhan event. During the program, the members of the women’s committee tied rakhi to the Seva Vrati, and they were given gifts.

Channelize your inner strength like Hanumanji b...

Ekal Yuva Mumbai conducted a session at GD Mundra’s residence on the 18th August 2023. We had 50 kids who participated (aged 3 to 13 years of age) and 15 members.
The session was started with a brief on Ekal and our work GD Mundra and thereafter it was taken over by Mrs Maheshwari a veteran educationalist who recited versus from the Hanuman Chalisa and explained it to the kids. Thereafter the kids recited Shloks and there was a Q&A session wherein they discussed about Hanumanji, channelizing our inner strength, doing good deeds and importance of praying and learning.
In the end kids enacted being Hanumanji and solved a few worksheets based on what they learnt from the session.
The Ekal Yuva team Ankur Goel, Aakriti Mundra, Shruti Agarwal spoke to each parent whose kids attended the session and briefed them on Ekal Yuva.
It was a very interactive session and kids were looking forward to more such events being hosted by Ekal

Independence Day Celebration in Mumbai

In Mumbai Chapter office, the 76th Independence Day of India was celebrated as part of the Amrit Mahotsav by the committee members. During this occasion, the members of committee & women committee were present. They saluted to the National flag and sang patriotic songs and National song. Sweet was distributed on occasion.
