Mahila Samiti Padarohan and Teej Program

Teej and the inauguration of the new mahila committee of 2023-25 were completed in the Amrit Mahotsav of independence on 16 august 23. The program was started with brahmanad and solo songs. In the inauguration ceremony, ex-President Mrs. Maniji Goenka handed over the responsibility of assuming the post to the new President and ex-Secretary Mrs Seema ji Agrawal to the new Secretary Mrs. Kavitaji khemka by changing the PIN. All the executive members were honored by planting a batch and giving flowers. The program was based on Marwari theme.

Marwari language was used from stage management to houji. All the friends had a lot of fun swinging on the swing decorated for Teej . Arrangement were also made to get mehndi applied on teej. All the friends applied mehendi on their hands. In the surprise game, the winner was given the honour of teej Queen. Sakhis presented beautiful dances on Marwari songs. It seemed as if the whole of Rajasthan had come to Nagpur.

The beautiful image of Radha Krishna was worth seeing during this program, 10 new members were formed. all the friends  laughed a lot over the hawji served in Marwari. During hauji,  surprise questions were asked on 15th August. In the end everyone enjoyed delicious Marwari food. Around 70 people attended this program.

Vanyatra Nagpur

On 2nd July, Vanyatra was organized in Savargaon Vidyalaya of early sanch of Pandharkawada zone. Everyone was welcomed by singing bhajans and applying tilak. Five members from Mahila Committee Chapter president Mr.Dilipji Jajoo Secretary Mr. Yogeshji Nawandar and seven youth members went on the forest journey. With everyone’s efforts a single youth committee was formed. The main objective of the Vanyatra was to show  the youth members the work of Ekal Vidhyalaya and Ekal. Vidharbha’s computer van was also shown. The youth members were very impressed after seeing all the work done there , which helped a lot in forming the youth committee. During the forest trip, children were taught to make birds in craft. Packets of notebooks , stationery, chocolates, namkeen phalli and donuts were distributed to all the children. Honored a soldier brother of that village and honored all the archaryas by giving them gifts.
