Teachers Day Tinsukia

Van Bandhu Parishad Tinsukia Chapter along with Ekal Abhiyan, Tinsukia celebrated Teachers Day in a very beautiful program at Hotel Royal Highness, Tinsukia. Twelve best Acharya one from each twelve Sanch and two Acharya from Arunachal Pradesh were felicitated with Assamese Gamucha, Certificate and gifts. Sri Sanjay Trivedi at the very onset of the program welcomed all and spoke about the importance of Teachers Day for Ekal Abhiyan. He spoke about the role of Acharyas of Ekal Abhiyan for providing education in the villages including sanskar, vikash, arogya and jagrukta through which the villagers are being educated about the rich history and culture of the nation, thus raising patriotism and nationalism among the villagers. Sri Shreeram Agarwal addressed the program throwing light towards the importance of Teachers Day and praised the dedication of Ekal Acharyas. He also gifted one book to each  14 acharya those who were felicitated.

The program was attended by President of Tinsukia Chapter Sri Binod Ghorawat, Secretary Sri Krishna Kumar Minda, Sri Kamakhya Prasad Rasiwasia (Patron), Sri Kailash Modi, Sri Arjunlal Patwary, Sri Ramjeevan Sureka,Sri Hiralal Sharma, Sri Kailash Methi, Sri Sanwar Rasiwasia,  Smt. Pushpa Rasiwasia, Smt. Sujata Khaitan (President, Mahila Samity), Smt. Pinky Prithani, Smt Sunita Goyal, Smt. Kavita Agarwal, Smt. Sunita Thard, and a host of respected citizen of Tinsukia.

Anchal Abhiyan Pramukh Sri Rahul Kumar Shah worked very hard to make the program a success.Sri Sunil Tanti, Sanskar Pramukh of North Eastern region spoke about the role of Ekal Abhiyan and how its going to help the nation in future. A few Acharya spoke about their experiences after joining with ekal Abhiyan and how they gained respect in their villages as Acharya and their role in spreading education has brought positive impact and development in villages.

Smt. Sujata Kanoi the coordinator of the program gave the Vote of Thanks and the program ended with Shubkamna Mantra.
